Silver Plume Rentals is a family-owned business in the high country of Colorado, committed to creating memorable adventures exploring the Colorado mountains with fantastic Polaris UTV rentals! As part of the Polaris Adventures network, we provide unique opportunities for customers of all experience levels to have great adventures with friends and family in the picturesque Colorado backcountry. From rentals that allow you to explore where you wish to self-guided, carefully curated routes, you’re sure to have memories that last a lifetime.
Cancellation Policy: If you should need to cancel, notice must be made 72 hours or further in advance, in which case it will be subject to forfeiture of reservation deposit funds. Any later notice will be subject to NO refund. No-shows and late arrivals are not eligible for refunds.
Drivers and Passengers: All drivers must be 25 years of age to drive the machine. All passengers must be able to put their feet on the floor with their back against the seat and hold on to the grab bar.
- Passengers under 18 years of age are required to have paperwork signed by a parent or legal guardian prior to participation
Weather and Reservation Dates: All rentals and tours run, regardless of the weather. If our scheduling permits, we will work with you to move your rental dates to accommodate any inclement weather. Silver Plume Rentals reserves the right to reschedule or cancel/refund any reservations due to extreme, inclement weather at our discretion.

So maybe you’ve ridden the Pitkin, St. Elmo, Tin Cup, Taylor Park areas before. Maybe, you’ve ridden several times and you’re a veteran of the area. You’ve probably ridden Hancock Pass, Tin Cup Pass, American Flag Mountain, and several others! But have you ever ridden Cross Mountain? Many visitors to the area miss this trail because it’s of the beaten path, and isn’t easily found unless you search it out! This trail is a great ride from near Tin Cup, climbing up to a panoramic view of the beautiful Rocky Mountains. This can be done in a Jeep, dirt bike, or (our favorite!) a RZR!
